Get a clue
The conservative Montana Family Coalition, distressed by the increased visibility of gay people on TV, is organizing a protest aimed at companies who advertise during such shows. Julie Milliam, the group's director, expressed her distaste for the wildly popular "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."
To me, that's not a reality show about gay people. A really good reality show about gay people would be five gay men dying of AIDS.
Hmmmm...let's see. I'm not dying of AIDS. Neither is my boyfriend. Neither is Troy nor Ryan. Come to think of it neither are Jason, Rich, Boyd, Dwight, Richard, Doug, Brandon, Kenshi, Brian, Mike, Thomas, Matt, Mark, Craig, Randy, Patrick, Kurt, Christoph, Alan, Scottie, Norman, Brett, Brent, Tony, Shunji, Sam, Todd ... you get the idea.
I imagine clues are hard to come by in Montana. Still, there's got to be a couple available on the Internet, or even *gasp* by mail order.
