I don't accept the homosexual lifestyle. I practice tolerance, not acceptance. That means I adhere to any and all applicable legal statutes regarding discrimination and fairness.
What a cop out. Does this person think he is some kind of saint for adhering to legal statutes? The thing is it is perfectly legal in most places to discriminate against and be unfair to homosexuals. Much more common are the places where a homosexual has no legal recourse if fired for being gay, or evicted for being gay, or being beat up for being gay than the places where legal action is an option. There are also plenty of things that have nothing to do with homosexuality that are perfectly legal but fall somewhat short of ethical or right.
It is my understanding of Christianity that you had better be holding yourself to a higher standard than the laws of the land or you're going to be in deep shit come Judgment Day.
