Sacrilege . . . or satire?
I imagine there are some who don't distinguish between the two. But, in my humble opinion, it's only sacrilege if after watching you're thinking, "Jesus is HOT!"

I have a complicated relationship to religion. A full answer probably warrants its own post. Maybe I’ll get around to that when the semester is over in couple of weeks.
The short answer is I think we get into trouble when we define anything as above reproach. I think an honest, soulful person is able and willing to examine their beliefs in the full light of day and is open to people who don’t share their beliefs calling them on perceived inaccuracies or inconsistencies. Sacrilege just means, “I’m too threatened to think.”
I also believe that a Heaven with a God who has no sense of humor sounds like a really dreadful place.
And yes, Jesus is HOT!
